Questions buyers ask before ordering

What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 padfolios — enough for a board or a small team — with bulk tiers that drop steeply at the hundreds and thousands conferences order in.
How fast will my padfolios arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and padfolios ship in about 2 weeks. Full-grain leather and riveted ring mechanisms add a little; we give you a real date before you commit.
Why do padfolios crack down the spine?
Because the cover material was wrapped tight over two hard boards with no relief gap, so it stretches over an edge every time the folio is opened. A relieved spine lets it fold along a channel instead.
Can I buy refill pads later?
Yes, and it is the first thing to check with any supplier. We build around stock letter and 5 x 8 pads sold everywhere, so the cover keeps working long after our order is forgotten.
Which closure lasts longest?
A tuck flap, because it has nothing in it to fail. A magnetic closure is next and is quieter to open in a room. A zip is the most secure and the most likely to fail, which is why we radius the corners.
Deboss, foil or laser?
Blind deboss on leather, foil where the mark must read across a room, and laser on cork. On recycled and PU covers the deboss die is run cooler, otherwise it glosses the surface around the mark.
Will it lie flat on a table?
Ours will. The spine relief and the board cut decide this — a folio built as one flat panel folded in half springs shut every time you let go of it, which is the most-complained-about thing in this category.
Do you redraw artwork?
Yes, free. Send whatever you have and our design team sets it out at the right size for the cover panel, and proofs the deboss on your actual material before the run.
